Made me think of a deposed dictator coming out of the little trailer and, with both hands on the railing of his little deck/podium he addresses his new subjects who are hidden--busily munching grass and putting up acorns for the winter--

The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind..........

Great painting.

Can I be crass and ask, "Can I afford it?" (and after hearing the answer,) "Er, do you sell high end reproductions of your work? Do you ship to Canada?"

Jj, wonderful. Ahahahaha

K9: Oh, the reality is even better! To paint this, I'm standing at the edge of a gurgling creek. Little spashes every now and then. Lowing cattle. Horses nearby.

Thank you Arthur, I will have POA put you on the someday plan. He is a jealous guardian of the works, so it takes a long time. I would like to see it secure in Canada, so that is a start of sorts anyway.

Nina,

If you're unwilling or unable to part with your work, the solution to satisfying the needs of people like me who like to hang art we admire on our walls rather than look at them on a computer monitor might be to issue a limited high end print run of each - say 100...

The proceeds could keep you in chainsaws and gas and maybe even drafting chairs for a good long while.

I keep coming back to this image... If you're not willing to sell me a copy, could you at least add a feature to your blog that would allow me to blow it up big enough to fill my screen when I look at it?

Pretty please?
